Founded under the visionary leadership of Dr. M. R. Doreswamy, the People’s Education Society (PES Group) has evolved from a pioneering educational trust in 1972 into one of India’s foremost academic and healthcare networks.

Under his guidance, PES pioneered tertiary medical services in the rural tri-state junction of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu by establishing the 750-bed PES Hospital & PESIMSR in Kuppam in 2001. In 2023, he expanded this healing mission with the 1,000-bed PES University Hospital in Electronic City, Bengaluru, merging quaternary medicine with interdisciplinary scientific research.
