In continuation of Dr. M. R. Doreswamy’s guiding vision of compassionate healthcare for all, PES Hospitals organized a Mega Multi-Specialty Rural Health Screening Camp, benefiting over 4,500 residents across rural Chittoor, Kolar, and Krishnagiri districts.
A specialized team of 45 clinicians spanning General Medicine, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, and Gynecology provided free consultations, on-site diagnostics, and medications.
Point-of-Care Diagnostics and Specialty Referrals
The camp deployed mobile diagnostic units equipped with digital 12-lead ECG machines, point-of-care HbA1c analyzers, and portable non-mydriatic fundus cameras for diabetic retinopathy screening. Over 380 patients with critical cardiac irregularities or vision-threatening cataracts were referred for subsidized institutional care.
