Whether arriving for a planned elective surgery or through our 24x7 emergency department, our admissions desk ensures an organized, hassle-free transition to your room.

Doctor's Admission Order

Your consulting doctor or Emergency Physician issues an Admission Advice slip stating the diagnosis, treating department, and recommended care tier.

Central IP Desk & Room Selection

Visit the Central Inpatient Desk. Choose your preferred accommodation category (General Ward, Semi-Private, Single AC, or Deluxe Suite) based on preference and insurance eligibility.

Insurance Pre-Authorization & Financial Clearance

For cashless claims (Aarogyasri, PM-JAY, or Private TPAs), submit policy documents at the Insurance Desk. For self-paying patients, an initial deposit is collected with an itemized estimate.

Room Escort & Clinical Onboarding

Our patient transport executive escorts the patient to the assigned room/ward. The ward nursing supervisor and resident medical officer complete initial vitals and medication reconciliation.

Inpatient Admission FAQ

How many attendant passes are issued during admission? +

For General Wards, one 24-hour attendant pass and one visitor pass are issued. For Semi-Private and Private Deluxe Single rooms, two attendant passes are provided to ensure round-the-clock family support.

What are the hospital visiting hours for family & friends? +

Visiting hours are strictly regulated to protect patient rest and infection control: Morning: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Evening: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Children under 12 years are not permitted in ICU zones.

Can I request a room category upgrade during my stay? +

Yes, room upgrades (e.g., from General Ward to Single AC or Executive VIP Suite) are accommodated based on bed availability. Please inform the floor nursing supervisor or the Inpatient Billing Desk.

Are dietary meals provided for admitted patients? +

Yes. All admitted inpatients receive customized, nutritious meals prepared under the direct supervision of clinical dieticians according to individual medical conditions (diabetic, cardiac, low-salt, renal, soft diet).
